Hi! I’m Jenny Hertel, the main photographer behind Jenny Photography! I am a Vancouver photographer who specializes in wedding photography. You’ll find my handsome husband Steve shooting with me at most weddings. Together we make a pretty good tag team: we’ve been shooting together for 2 years, married for 10, together since high school.
I love shooting weddings! Telling your story. Capturing the excitement of the day. Being creative. Being up for the challenge of what the day will bring. And, well I also look forward to eating wedding cake...let’s be honest!
I’ve been shooting full time since 2006, focusing exclusively on wedding photography since 2008. Clients always get our full attention, with emails and calls answered within 24 hours. Meet with us for a free consultation! We shoot between 15-20 weddings a year. For the most part we shoot in the Vancouver area, but we do (and love) to travel. We’ve shot weddings up in Whistler, over on the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island and across the county all the way to Toronto!
During the grey rainy season in Vancouver, I dream of sunshine and saltwater and look forward to the 2012 wedding season! I love travelling and have been lucky enough to have spent time on just about every continent doing what I love - enjoying life.
